Following two consecutive wins, Saganaki’s half-sister – See Miracles – finished second at Race 7 in Doomben last fortnight.

See Miracles is out of Cubism, the same Dam as Saganaki, and her eighth career podium followed two consecutive wins at the Sunshine Coast in August.

It’s not the only success from Sagakani’s family: his two full sisters, Stroak and Cuban Saga, both won on debut as two-year-olds.

Older sister Stroak won her first two races at Doomben in 2013 while Cuban Saga made her debut in April of this year, winning over 1200m at Sunshine Coast.

The best news of all of this is that Saganaki is tipped to be the finest specimen amongst these siblings – and his training so far has proven him to be a keen worker and a strong runner.

acinSaganaki is a 2015 colt being trained by Kris Lees – ranked in the top 10 trainers in Australia – which was bought for $165,000 at the Gold Coast Magic Millions. Ownership was then split into 1,000 shares, each costing $165 plus a $15 monthly training & management fee.
